Terms and conditions
Effective 28 September 2026. These terms apply when you access or use Tickets Please, a service operated by XodeLabs.
Agreement. By creating an account, subscribing, or using Tickets Please, you agree to these terms. If you act for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. References to Tickets Please include XodeLabs and its owners, developers, employees, and contractors where the context permits.
You must provide accurate account information, protect credentials, and promptly report suspected unauthorized access. Your organization is responsible for its administrators, agents, account activity, configuration, and all content submitted through the service.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance in South African rand through Paystack and renew automatically until cancelled. You authorize recurring charges, are responsible for applicable taxes, and must cancel before the next billing date to avoid renewal. Cancellation stops future renewal while Team access continues until the end of the paid billing period. The workspace then returns to Free; extra agent accounts are retained but cannot sign in until Team is purchased again. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
You may use the service only for lawful support operations. You may not misuse the service, infringe rights, upload malicious code, probe or bypass security, disrupt infrastructure, send unlawful or abusive communications, or process information you are not entitled to use.
You retain ownership of your content and grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, back up, and transmit it to provide and secure the service. You are responsible for a lawful basis, notices, permissions, retention decisions, and responding to data-subject requests for the information you submit. We will take reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
We may maintain, improve, replace, or discontinue features and may temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We will use reasonable efforts to provide a reliable service, but no uptime or response-time commitment applies unless agreed separately in writing.
Payments, email delivery, hosting, and other functions may depend on third-party providers such as Paystack. Their terms and availability may also apply. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for failures or acts of third parties outside our reasonable control.
Tickets Please, its software, branding, documentation, and service design remain the property of XodeLabs and its licensors. Your subscription gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service. If you submit ideas or feature requests, you permit us to use them without restriction, payment, or obligation to implement them; this does not transfer ownership of your confidential information or customer data.
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, unlawful activity, security risk, or harm to the service or others. Where reasonably possible, we will give notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. You remain responsible for charges incurred before termination and should export information you need before access ends.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, that every defect will be corrected, or that the service will meet every particular business, legal, regulatory, or operational requirement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, XodeLabs and its owners, developers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, or data. Aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the fees paid for your subscription during the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing excludes liability or consumer rights that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
To the extent permitted by law, your organization will indemnify XodeLabs and its owners, developers, employees, and contractors against third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your content, unlawful use, violation of another person’s rights, or material breach of these terms.
South African law governs these terms, and disputes are subject to courts with lawful jurisdiction in South Africa. Before formal proceedings, the parties should try in good faith for 30 days to resolve a written dispute. We may update these terms prospectively and will post the effective date here. Material changes will not remove rights already accrued. Questions may be sent using the contact option below.
